Sarah Lawrence College continued its impressive start to the 2026 season Saturday, sweeping Bard College 3-0 in Annandale-on-Hudson. The Gryphons controlled the match from the opening set, earning a 25-19 victory before cruising through the second set, 25-12, and closing out the sweep with a 25-16 win.
Sarah Lawrence's offense produced 34 kills on 92 attacks while hitting .228 for the match. The Gryphons also served effectively throughout the afternoon, while their defense limited Bard's opportunities and allowed Sarah Lawrence to maintain control across all three sets.
The victory was particularly important for the Gryphons following Thursday's 3-1 loss to Stevens. Sarah Lawrence responded with two straight sweeps on Saturday, also defeating Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts later in the day, and improved to 6-1 overall. Bard fell to 0-6 after the loss.
