Mount Saint Mary College continued its strong start to the 2026 women's volleyball season Saturday afternoon, sweeping Pratt Institute 3-0 at the Kaplan Center. The Knights opened the match with a 25-19 victory before taking complete control in the second set, cruising to a 25-10 win. Mount Saint Mary then closed out the match with a 25-15 third-set victory to improve to 2-0 on the season.
Emily Baron led the Knights offensively with 13 kills, while Julianna Simone added 12 kills of her own and contributed three aces and three blocks. Kaitlin Dillon recorded six kills and two blocks, while Nicolette Pirro added four kills and three aces. Sofia Fredericks helped keep the Mount's offense moving throughout the match, finishing with 29 assists and nine digs.
The Knights also received a strong defensive performance from Simone and freshman libero Abigale Greenspan. Simone recorded a team-high 19 digs, while Greenspan finished with 15 as Mount Saint Mary limited Pratt's offensive opportunities throughout the final two sets. The victory gave the Knights their first 2-0 start to a season since 2019 and continued their momentum after opening the campaign with a sweep of Albertus Magnus.
