Sarah Lawrence Defeated Old Westbury

Sarah Lawrence College women's soccer earned a 3-0 Skyline Conference victory over Old Westbury on Tuesday afternoon at Panther Park. The Gryphons controlled the match offensively, putting 12 of their 19 shots on target while limiting Old Westbury to just two total shots and one attempt on goal. The victory moved Sarah Lawrence to 3-1-5 overall and 2-0-1 in conference play.

Chloe Barker opened the scoring for Sarah Lawrence, finding the net off an assist from Katey Beaver. Camila Vasquez then doubled the advantage with her first goal of the season before Whitney Erickson added the third goal. Sarah Lawrence's three goals came on 19 shots, while Old Westbury goalkeeper Kristen Gallagher made seven saves to keep the Panthers within striking distance.

The Gryphons also received another strong defensive performance, holding Old Westbury without a goal for the second straight match. Bella Vaca made one save to preserve the shutout, while Sarah Lawrence held advantages of 12-1 in shots on goal and 4-0 in corner kicks. The result marked Sarah Lawrence's second Skyline victory of the season, while Old Westbury remained winless in conference play.
