MANHATTANVILLE WINS THE CHAMPIONSHIP OVER FARMINGDALE

Manhattanville vs Farmingdale-

            Manhattanville wins the Skyline Championship over Farmingdale in a hard-fought game 9-6. Manhattanville looked to be running away with the game early on but a 5^th inning rally brought Farmingdale back into the game, Farmingdale continued to fight, but they were plagued with 5 errors giving Manhattanville extra base runners costing them the game. Manhattanville endured though, bringing Jori Wilkerndorf in to pitch, she held Farmingdale to just 1 hit in just over 2 innings securing the Championship for Manhattanville.  On offense Alexa Lazur led Manhattanville with 2 hits and a game high 6 rbi’s, while crushing a 2-run home run, she was followed by Sydni Brooks with 2 hits and Samantha Reyer with 1 hit and 1 rbi. For Farmingdale they fought hard but came up just short, Natalie MiMichel and Isabella Marchini led the way with 2 rbi’s each, followed by Madison Sturtz, Bailey Hammock and Alexandra Pole with 1 hit each. Manhattanville was perfect in Skyline play and are now the Champions once again. Congrats to them!
