USMMA SCOUTING REPORT
USMMA is heading into the championship game being slightly favored. USMMA ended the season with an 11-3 overall record while remaining perfect in Skyline play with an 8-0 record. They are red hot heading into this final game; they have won 10 straight games and have done so mostly in dominant fashion with the exception of a very tough game against Farmingdale on March 28th where they won 11-6.
USMMA has proved to be one of the strongest offensive teams in the conference outscoring their opponents 231-79. They have a stellar defense as well and it’s hard to find a weakness in their game. On offense they can score from anywhere, with 4 main options Grace Picozzi, Leslie Wysong, Sarah Litz and Reese Ripley leading the offense. Grace Picozzi has had a historic year with 55 goals for USMMA and she will be key to their potential championship. Then Isabelle Perry has been a solid facilitator on their offense she has 24 assists this season and helps keep the field spread out. USMMA is an offensive powerhouse and they will prefer the game be played almost exclusively on Farmingdale’s side of the field, USMMA will look to shut down Farmingdale’s offense this game. If they let Farmingdale get going offensively, that is the only thing that can take them down.
USMMA is the favorite, but Farmingdale has proved to be one of the toughest teams in the conference, we expect this to be a tight game and a high scoring game
