UMSV COMES UP JUST SHORT AGAINST BARD

UMSV vs Centenary-

            UMSV comes up just short in an extremely close game after a second half comeback by Centenary. UMSV came out of the gate red hot holding Centenary to just 3 goals in the first half as they scored 7, but a tough third quarter cost them in the end, UMSV held the lead well into the fourth quarter, but with 2 minutes left Centenary scored giving them their first lead. Then with just a minute left UMSV managed to tie the game with a goal by Nevaeh Martin tied it up, keeping the game alive until with just under a minute left Centenary managed to score a goal securing the victory. For UMSV Ella Meberg led the team with 5 goals, followed by Nevaeh Martin with 3 goals and 2 assists, then by Isabelle Gurley and Laziza Azimova with 1 goal each. UMSV was hindered by 20 turnovers which held them to just 17 shots on goal for them. UMSV now falls to 0-2.
