St. Joseph’s vs Manhattanville-
St. Joseph’s picks up a big win against a very tough Manhattanville team 19-14. This game went back and forth, with the game being tied going into the second half, but St. Joseph’s just managed to pull away in the 3rd quarter, despite Manhattanville taking the lead right after half with Bridget Sonju scoring the goal for Manhattanville, St. Joseph’s rallied and scored 5 goals to finish the quarter off then put up another 5 goals in the 4th quarter sealing the game. Sabrina Doyle was a huge reason for St. Joseph’s pulling away, she played extremely well, especially in the second half, for the game she had 6 goals and 3 assist, followed by Julia Stolba with 4 goals and 1 assist, then by Taylor Metzler with 3 goals and 3 assists, Kaitlyn Ippolito also with 3 goals, then 4 assists, then Emily Grace Passaro, Gianna Darienzo and Emily Farrington brought in 1 goal each, Maggie Harding was in the net and she picked up 9 saves this game, right after picking up her 400th career save last game. For Manhattanville they were led by Ashley Glass and Kaci Pierce who both played extremely well with 4 goals each, then Bridget Sonju with 3 goals and 1 assist, followed by Jocelyn Mazo with 2 goals, then Sydney Natale with 1 goal, Pietra Cabral added 4 assists. Mary Kopf was in the net and she did all she could, picking up 13 saves. St. Joseph’s now moves to 4-2 in conference play as Manhattanville falls to 3-3.
