St. Joseph’s vs UMSV-
St. Joseph’s had their senior day game against UMSV and it was an intense game. St. Joseph’s rallied back in the fourth quarter and sealed the win 6-5. Early in the 4th things were looking down for St. Joseph’s as Isabelle Gurley scored a goal putting UMSV up 4-3, but then three straight goals by St. Joseph’s gave them the win, Kaitlyn Ippolito, Gianna Darienzo and Taylor Metzler all scored in the fourth quarter helping them get the senior day victory. UMSV didn’t go away quietly though, Isabelle Gurly scored another goal with just under four minutes pushing the game to 6-5 in St. Joseph’s favor, but St. Joseph’s managed to get a defensive stop and end the game. For St. Joseph’s Taylor Metzler led the way with 4 goals, followed by Gianna Darienzo and Kaitlyn Ippolito with 1 goal each, Sabrina Doyle added 3 assists, Maggie Harding was in the net and managed to pick up 7 saves. For UMSV Gurley led the way with 3 goals followed by Nevaeh Martin with 2 goals, then in the net Makenna Reekie kept them in the game, she had 14 saves. St. Joseph’s now moves to 5-2 in conference play.
