St. Joseph’s vs Maritime-
St. Joseph’s starts off conference play red hot winning back-to-back games after defeating Maritime 21-6. St. Joseph’s did a fantastic job of keeping the ball off their side of the field, they forced 26 turnovers and finished 19-9 in faceoffs, this resulted in them getting 19 more shots on goal than Maritime, which made it impossible for them to stay in the game. St. Joseph’s came out the gate firing, scoring 8 goals in the first quarter and never slowed down after that. Sabrina Doyle led St. Joseph’s again, with 5 goals and 2 assists this time, followed by Kaitlyn Ippolito with 4 goals and 3 assists, then by Kayla Sodano with 4 goals and 1 assist, Taylor Metzler and Julia Stolba followed with 2 goals each, then Emily Grace Passaro, Gianna Darienzo, Emily Farrington and Jocelyn Forseth all finished with 1 goal each, Maggie Harding had 6 saves in the net. For Maritime Eva Garcia was a bright spot, scoring 4 goals, she was followed by Paige Grider and Mia Brandenstein with 1 goal each. St. Joseph’s is now 2-0 in conference play and has seemed to have found their groove, as Sabrina Doyle continues to perform.
