Manhattanville pulls out the win over UMSV in their first conference matchup winning 9-5. Turnovers plagued UMSV, Manhattanville’s defense forced 26 turnovers which gave them 8 more shots on goal over UMSV. USMV’s goalie did all she could to keep them in the game, Makenna Reekie recorded 11 saves for UMSV, on offense they struggled though, despite that they had some bright spots, Isabelle Gurley and Ella Meberg had 2 goals each, followed by Navaeh Martin with 1 goal and 1 assist.
