FARMINGDALE'S SEASON COMES TO AN END

Farmingdale vs Wooster-

            Farmingdale’s incredible season comes to an end after falling to Wooster in the first round of the NCAAs. Farmingdale fought hard, but Wooster just managed to overwhelm them, they had 17 more shots on goal than Farmingdale and forced 24 turnovers. Farmingdale did have some bright spots though, Giavanna Stamatelo was in the net and she kept her team in the game, recording 20 saves and only allowing 16 goals on 36 shots on her, then on offense Carly Livingston did all she could to keep the team in the game, she had 6 goals and 1 assist, Kailee Coppola and Emily Sohm followed her with 1 goal each. All though today wasn’t their day Farmingdale had a stellar season bringing in their 2^nd Skyline Championship in just 3 years. Going into next year they will still be an extremely good team, but they will miss a few key graduating seniors like Kailee Coppola, Emily Sohm, Molly Espey and Jordyn Neu who were all key players over the course of their careers and helped elevate this program to 2 titles, despite losing them, they will bring back arguably the best offensive player and goalie in the conference in Carly Livingston and Giavanna Stamatelo. Look out for Farmingdale next season! Congrats on a great season!
