Farmingdale vs Springfield-
Farmingdale caps off their two game Floridia trip against Springfield, falling 12-4. Farmingdale actually played relatively good defense, they just could not get the ball off their side of the field, they were 4-14 in draw controls, and had 22 turnovers giving Springfield 22 more shots on goal than them. Farmingdale did have some bright spots though, Carly Livingston had a team high 3 goals, followed by Emily Sohm with 1 goal, but the real story of the game is goalie Giavanna Stamatelo picking up her 400th career save and it was not easy. She had 19 saves this game and was the primary reason they were able to stay in the game, as just a junior she has a chance to reach 500+ saves for her career. Despite two losses in Florida, they are still primed for a solid season, and they have the players to make a real playoff run this season.
