Farmingdale vs Mount Saint Mary’s-
Farmingdale gets the win over Mount Saint Mary’s to pick up their second conference win, 18-7. Farmingdale came out the gate red hot on both offense and defense, they put up 7 goals in the first quarter alone and held Mount Saint Mary’s to just 3 goals in the first half, on offense they had over 15 more shots on goal than Mount Saint Mary’s. One of the main reasons Farmingdale managed to win was an unbelievable performance by Carly Livingston, she had 6 goals and 6 assists in this game, she was followed up by Emily Sohm who also put up an impressive performance with 5 goals, followed by Molly Espey with 3 goals and 1 assist, then Rylee Valenzano, Krystal Sulin, Kailee Coppola and Jordyn Neu all had 1 goal each, while Givanna Stamatelo recorded 5 saves and only allowed 7 goals for the whole game. Mount Saint Mary’s did have some bright spots, with Kasey Senior, Danica Valente and Delisianna Naccarato all scoring 2 goals, followed by Antonia Licardi with 1 goal, they also did manage to force 18 turnovers, but Farmingdale’s defense was too solid to put those to use. Farmingdale has now started conference play winning two of their first three games, look out for them to be a real championship contender.
