Farmingdale picks up their second straight win after defeating SUNY Maritime 17-3. Farmingdale dominated on defense forcing 26 turnovers and winning the ground ball war 24 to 9, this also resulted in them taking 18 more shots on goal. Farmingdale got off to a hot start scoring 9 goals in the first half alone. Emily Sohm had a stellar performance today, scoring 5 goals and picking up 4 assists, followed by Kailee Coppola and Jordyn Neu with 3 goals and 1 assist each, while Rylee Valenzano and Molly Espey brought in 2 goals and 1 assist each, followed by Krystal Sulin and Carly Livingston with 1 goal and 2 assists, Giavanna Stamatelo locked down the net as she only allowed 3 goals and picked up 5 saves. Maritime was led by Eva Garcia, Paige Grider and Michelle Pecararo with 1 goal each. Farmingdale is now 4-1 in conference play and looks primed for a stellar playoff run, they are red hot on both offense and defense. Tomorrow, they take on SUNY Old Westbury in their senior day game.
