Farmingdale vs Manhattanville-
Farmingdale starts off their conference season with a win over a tough Manhattanville team 19-4. Farmingdale came out the gate red hot, scoring 10 goals in the first half alone while holding Manhattanville to just 3 goals in the first half and 1 in the second half. Farmingdale’s defense was stellar forcing 18 turnovers, while Giavanna Stamatelo had a great day in the net recording 10 saves and only allowing 4 goals. On offense Emily Sohm went crazy for Farmingdale recording 9 goals and 1 assist, followed by Carly Livingston who also had a phenomenal game with 6 goals and 4 assists, Kaliee Coppola followed with a solid 3 goals, then Dayana Gonzalez followed with 1 goal. For Manhattanville Kathleen O’Mara led the team with 2 goals, followed by Pietra Cabral and Bethany Rudolph with 1 goal each. Livingston and Sohm are starting off this season red hot with both having 20 or more points in just 8 games, look out for them to lead Farmingdale on a deep run this season. Manhattanville now moves to 1-1 in conference play.
