FARMINGDALE BEATS UMSV

Farmingdale vs UMSV-

            Farmingdale picks up another conference win after defeating a tough UMSV team 15-4. Farmingdale took 21 shots on goal while holding UMSV to just 6 shots on goal, while also forcing 21 turnovers. The game was tight going into the second half with Farmingdale just holding onto a 5-2 lead, but in the third quarter they exploded putting up seven unanswered goals, which was just too much for UMSV to overcome. Isabelle Gurley led UMSV with 3 goals and 1 assist, followed by Ella Meberg with 1 goal and 1 assist. For Farmingdale Carly Livingston had yet another big game adding to her already impressive season scoring 7 goals and picking up 3 assists, she was followed by Molly Espey, Kailee Coppola and Jordyn Neu with 2 goals each, then by Krystal Sulin and Emily Sohm with 1 goal each, in the net Giavanna Stamatelo locked down allowing only 4 goals for the whole game. Farmingdale now moves to 3-1 in conference play, as they look to be one of the top teams in the conference, Livingston continues to perform for the Rams with one impressive game after another.
