USMMA vs Manhattanville-
USMMA gets their revenge as they beat Manhattanville at home in Kings Point 62-52 in a hard-fought game, giving these teams the same record going into their last games. USMMA just got off to an incredible start, finishing the first half with a 16-point lead which proved to be too much for Manhattanville to overcome. Manhattanville suffered protecting the ball, turning it over 10 times which led to 14 easy points for USMMA. USMMA also dominated on the back board, they managed to out rebound Manhattanville 44-22, while neither team shot the ball particularly well USMMA just did enough to get over the top. USMMA was led by its big three, with Carolae Barton and Emily Grasseler both bringing in double-doubles, which has become routine, Barton dropped 22 points, while picking up 16 rebounds, as Grasseler had 13 points and 15 rebounds, Hannah Ramsden also dropped 13 points, while having 4 assists, then lastly Breanna Sommers helped with 11 points and 6 rebounds. For Manhattanville despite their shooting woes Julie DeBrocky came to play, she had 16 points, she was followed by Gabby Tucker with 13 points and 5 rebounds. These two teams now both sit at 17-2 in conference play with one game to play, those two games could decide who the number one seed is going into playoffs, Manhattanville faces off against Mount Saint Mary’s while USMMA faces off against UMSV.
