UMSV vs Purchase-
UMSV gets the upset win after defeating Purchase, both teams had very poor shooting nights with neither shooting over 30% from the field. UMSV managed to force 28 turnovers which gave them 18 easy points, which made up for the 26% shooting. UMSV was led by Grace Kennedy with a double-double, 15 points and 10 rebounds, she was followed by Ashley Marrocco with 10 points, these two girls have really become the focal point of UMSV’s offense over the past few weeks. Purchase was led by Tianna Patten after another stellar performance with 17 points and 3 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the poor shooting and turnovers. UMSV now moves to 2-11 in conference play as Purchase falls to 8-6.
