UMSV BESTS YESHIVA

UMSV vs Yeshiva-

            UMSV picks up the win against Yeshiva on their senior night 69-46. UMSV was stellar on defense holding Yeshiva to just 46 points and 28% shooting, while also picking up 10 steals which led to 19 easy points. Grace Kennedy who has been the break out star in the second half of the season for UMSV had 16 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Julia Angeles with 14 points and 3 assists. For Yeshiva Ilana Schwartz came off the bench to lead the team with 13 points and 7 rebounds, she was followed Naomi Sigman with 10 points and 6 rebounds, then by senior Tali Cohen who had 10 points and 7 rebounds. Yeshiva really picked up their play in the second half of the season, mostly led by Naomi Sigman who will finish the year a top 10 player in the conference. Yeshiva will finish the year 2-18 in conference play as UMSV moves to 5-14.
