ST. JOSEPH'S UPSETS MANHATTANVILLE

St. Joseph’s vs Manhattanville-

            St. Joseph’s pulls off the upset of the season so far after defeating Manhattanville breaking their undefeated record. Manhattanville struggled shooting, as St. Joseph’s defense was smothering, Manhattanville shot just 31% from the field and 20% from behind the arch. St. Joseph’s also managed to dominate in the paint, scoring 30 of their 47 points in the paint. Chantelle Larbi led St. Joseph’s with a double-double, 12 points and 13 rebounds, she was followed by Madelyn Barone with 12 points and 6 rebounds as she continues her stellar season. Manhattanville despite having a poor shooting game had some bright spots, with Esther Ramos coming to play yet again with 14 points and 5 rebounds, she was followed by Gabby Tucker with 12 points and 4 rebounds. St. Joseph’s has now won six of their last seven games, picking up steam as they head into the playoffs, look out for them to make a run. Manhattanville falls to 15-1 in conference play as St. Joseph’s moves to 10-7.
