ST. JOSEPH'S BESTS OLD WESTBURY

St. Joseph’s vs Old Westbury-

            St. Joseph’s pulls out the victory against SUNY Old Westbury behind another stellar performance from Mercedes Perez. St. Joseph’s was dominate on the boards, they out rebounded Old Westbury 57-44, which resulted in 32 points in the paint. Perez led St. Joseph’s with 25 points and 6 assists, followed by Kristen Donovan with 15 points, then Nikki Grech with 10 points and 7 rebounds. Old Westbury who has gotten much more competitive in the second half of the season put up a solid fight tonight, Endya Greene who has been the breakout star for this team led with 16 points and 8 rebounds, followed by Sakhmet Lewis with 12 points and Aissata Kone 11 points. St. Joseph’s moves to 7-12 in conference play; they have found a groove towards the end of the season and will look to take it into their last game Saturday.
