St. Joseph's beats Yeshiva After Stellar First Half

St. Joseph’s vs Yeshiva-

            St. Joseph’s defeated Yeshiva after a monster first quarter scoring 24 points and holding their opponents to just 7 points. St. Joseph’s had 4 players score in double digits with Madelyn Barone leading the team with 18 points and 4 rebounds. Isabelle Lebron followed up with a solid 14 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists, along with Chantelle Larbi putting up 11 points and 5 rebounds, and finally Gabriella Andreacchi bringing in 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. These four players combined for 53 points more than the entire Yeshiva team.  Yeshiva had some fight with Ilana Schwartz bringing in another solid performance scoring 16 points, she was helped by Naomi Sigman who recorded a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. St. Joseph’s defense seems to be in mid-season form, and they have players who can score from anywhere. Look out for St. Joseph’s this season they are looking primed for a Skyline Playoff run.
