Sarah Lawrence vs St. Joseph’s-
Sarah Lawrence gets a big win securing them a slot in the Skyline Playoffs after defeating St. Joseph’s Brooklyn in a back-and-forth game. The lead changed twenty times with neither team managing to pull away, but in the fourth quarter Sarah Lawrence did just enough to get over the top. Sarah Lawrence won the rebounding war 58-45, which helped them dominate in the paint, scoring 34 points in the paint. Colleen Coughlin led Sarah Lawrence with 23 points, followed by Gabby Hudson with 19 points, then by Sarah Theriault who had a double-double with 14 points and 19 rebounds, followed by Jade Ling Eng-Stewart also with a double-double, 13 points and 14 rebounds. For St. Joseph’s they battled the whole game and were led by Nikki Grech with 21 points and 15 rebounds, doing everything she could to get them over the top, she was followed by Aaniya Telford with 18 points and Mercedes Perez who had another solid performance with 16 points and 8 rebounds. For St. Joseph’s one of the best players in their programs history played her final game for them, Kristen Donovan a top 10 all-time scorer. Arah Lawrence punches their ticket into the playoffs with a 10-9 conference record.
