Manhattanville Moves To 8-0 After Defeating St. Joseph's

Manhattanville vs St. Joseph’s-

            Manhattanville moves to 8-0 in conference play with a historic start to their season after defeating St. Joseph’s Long Island 54-43. Esther Ramos led Manhattanville with 14 points and 6 rebounds, she was followed by Gabby Tucker with 12 points, then Kathleen O’Mara and Amanda Orlando with 10 points each. Manhattanville was locking up on defense securing 17 steals which helped them overcome what was a poor shooting night for their standard, shooting just 34% from the field. St. Joseph’s was led by Isabelle Lebron with 11 points and 3 rebounds. St. Joseph’s falls to 3-5 in conference play. Manhattanville is proving they are one of the top two teams in the conference and we look forward to seeing how they finish out the year.
