Manhattanville-
Manhattanville is one of the most well-balanced teams you will find with 4 girls averaging over 10 points. Esther Ramos has been the leader for this team and she will be key for them if they want to get the win. For them at least two of their other key players has to have big games order to put them over the top, Julie DeBrocky, Gabby Tucker, Amanda Orlando or Kathleen O’Mara, two of them along with Ramos would most likely give them enough fire power to score with USMMA. Now rebounding will be key in this game, in their first meeting this season Manhattanville managed to win by keeping the rebounding battle close and limiting Grasseler’s shots. Defense is essential for them, USMMA has the ability to score with any team, so limiting either Barton or Grasseler is key. Manhattanville has been extremely strong on offense the entire year, defense has been the only thing to hold them back for the most part. Manhattanville started the year extremely hot and if they can manage to play the way they did in December, they are almost impossible to beat. We look forward to watching tomorrow!
