Manhattanville edges out USMMA 62-61

            Manhattanville picks up a huge win against USMMA as both entered the game 3-0 in Skyline Conference play. This was one of the most evenly matched games you will see with it coming down to the wire, ending 62-61 Manhattanville. Manhattanville was led by Julie DeBrocky who had a team leading 23 points and 5 rebounds, she was followed by Gabby Tucker who had 20 points and a team leading 6 assists. USMMA was led by Carolae Barton who had another insane game having 28 points and 16 rebounds, she was followed by Hannah Ramsden with 13 points and 7 rebounds. These two teams battled it out and showed why they are both top teams in the conference. USMMA had some shooting struggles, which was caused by the stellar defense of Manhattanville. Barton despite the loss is making a great case for Skyline Player of The Year early on this season. Manhattanville was helped by Kathleen O’Mara and Esther Ramos who although didn’t score a high amount, both played great defense and picked up more than 5 rebounds. It was a true team win by Manhattanville.
