Manhattanville bests Purchase to remain undefeated

            Manhattanville remains undefeated in conference play after defeating Purchase in a close game. Manhattanville’s offense overwhelmed Purchase with four girls scoring in double figures, with Esther Ramos leading them with a double-double, 18 points and 11 rebounds. Two other girls on Manhattanville had double-doubles, first Kathleen O’Mara with 12 points and a team leading 17 rebounds and Julie DeBrocky with 11 points and 10 rebounds, Amanda Orlando also had a solid game with 14 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Purchase was tough throughout the game, but they got down by 10 in the first quarter and they were never able to recover, Tianna Patten led them with 11 points, she was followed by Charlee Web with 10 points. Manhattanville is now 7-0 in conference play as Purchase falls to 5-2.
