FARMINGDALE UPSETS MOUNT SAINT MARY'S

Farmingdale vs Mount Saint Mary’s-

            Farmingdale pulls off the upset after beating Mount Saint Mary’s at home 78-68. Farmingdale managed to secure the win largely due to their defense, they secured 12 steals which gave them 28 easy points. Also, Mia Simmons and Alexandria Walbroehl went off for Farmingdale with Simmons scoring 28 points, while Walbroehl scored 23 points, Brianna Amenta also joined in with 10 points and 3 rebounds. Mount Saint Mary’s played relatively well despite their ball security, Brianna Guglielmo had 25 points and 8 rebounds as she continues to perform for this team, she was followed by Maggie Trinkaus with 14 points and 9 rebounds, Gabby Zeiegenbalg off the bench with 12 points and Sara Cashin with 10 points and 5 rebounds. Farmingdale now moves to 8-7 in the Skyline Conference as Mount Saint Mary’s falls to 11-3.
