            Farmingdale defeated St. Joseph’s in a close game that went back and forth with 10 lead changes. Neither team shot the ball well with Farmingdale shooting just 25% from the field, while still managing to pull out the win. Defense was key for Farmingdale they forced 22 turnovers which gave them 27 easy points. Farmingdale was led by Mia Simmons with 14 points and 6 rebounds, followed by Brianna Amenta with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Emily Tsiforas had a solid showing with 11 points, then off the bench Samyah Allen dropped 12 points. St. Joseph’s was led by Mercedes Perez who had another stellar game with 20 points and 8 rebounds, followed by Kristen Donovan with 15 points, then Judith Vila Marti with 10 points. Farmingdale overcame the pour shooting through a defensive masterclass, with this victory they move to 7-5 in conference play, as St. Joseph’s falls to 4-8.
