MARITIME WINS OVER USMMA IN RIVALRY GAME

Maritime vs USMMA-

            Maritime picks up a big win their conference rivalry game against USMMA. Maritime controlled basically the entire game, until a 4^th quarter surge by USMMA pushing Maritime right to the edge. Maritime was led by Michael Weigand with 5 goals, followed by Ryan Hannaford with 3 goals, then Tyler Mahood with 2 goals, then Ryan Grider, Nick Uzakewicz and Thomas McCarvill all had 1 goal each, but Uzakewicz added 8 assists and being one of the main offensive contributors in the game, Cristian Scaffaro also performed in the net, picking up 16 saves in the process. For USMMA Landon Locke led the team with 3 goals and 1 assist, followed by Ryan Sullivan and Kyle Hennelly with 2 goals each, then William Badeer, Owen Barcus, Kenneth Harrison and Jack DeTommaso with 1 goal each. This cross the pond rivalry always brings out some of the best games and yesterday did not disappoint with both teams feeling they could have won.
