MARITIME IS THE 2026 SKYLINE CHAMPIONS AFTER DEFEATING USMMA

Maritime vs USMMA-

            Maritime pulls out the win and becomes the 2026 Skyline Champions after defeating a tough USMMA team. The game was back and forth with USMMA holding an 8-5 lead in the first half, but Maritime battled back and in the fourth quarter pulled off a stellar comeback. Ryan Hannaford hit two incredibly clutch goals, he managed to tie the game up with just 5:27 left in the game, then put them up 12-11 with 4:40 in the game, then Maritime seemed to have sealed the deal when Nick Uzakewicz scored another goal for Maritime giving them a 13-11 lead, but USMMA wasn’t done yet, with just 2:57 left in the game Jack DeTommaso scored bringing Maritimes lead down to just 1 goal, but on defense Maritime just managed to hang on and secure the win. For Maritime Ryan Hannaford led the team with 6 goals and 1 assist, followed by Nick Uzakewicz with 5 goals and 3 assists, followed by Tyler Mahood and Nick LiPuma with 1 goal each, then in the net Cristian Scaffaro was incredible, he had 18 saves and kept Maritime in the game which allowed them to come back. For USMMA Jack DeTomasso led with 4 goals, followed by Landon Locke and Owen Barcus with 3 goals, while Locke added 4 assists also, William Badeer and Kyle Hennelly added 1 goal each to cap off USMMA’s scoring. Maritime is now the 2026 Skyline Champions! Congrats to them and congrats to USMMA for a stellar season.
