MANHATTANVILLE BESTS MOUNT SAINT MARY'S

Mount Saint Mary’s vs Manhattanville-

            Manhattanville gets the win over a tough Mount Saint Mary’s team 11-5. The game was played relatively evenly, except in the second quarter when Manhattanville was able to put up four unanswered goals. Manhattanville did manage to get 14 more shots on goal and force 28 turnovers, which helped keep the ball on Mount Saint Mary’s side of the field. For Mount Saint Mary’s, Kenny Leen was their goalie and he did all he could to keep them in the game, he had 18 saves and held Manhattanville to just 11 goals, despite them taking 29 shots, offensively they struggled, but Joseph Corallo led with 2 goals and 1 assist, followed by Robby Maurer, Jake Kannenburg and Hayden Mitchell with 1 goal each. For Manhattanville they also had great goalie play with Joe Ulzheimer picking up 10 saves, then offensively Nick Corace led with 3 goals, followed by Tyler Berch with 2 goals and 1 assist, then by Anthony Cozza, Chris Marinaccio, Michael Karabinchak, Dylan Foley, Jack Roberts and Jake Strobel had 1 goal each. Manhattanville now moves to 3-3 in conference play.
