ZEVI SAMET DROPS 52 POINTS OVER USMMA

Yeshiva vs USMMA-

            History was made last night after Zevi Samet brought in a Yeshiva single game record of 52 points, securing the win over USMMA to keep Yeshiva’s perfect conference record alive. USMMA couldn’t hold back Samet’s onslaught, but they did manage to put some offense together, Tim Barton had 19 points and 8 rebounds, followed by Aaron Zalescik with 12 points, then Jack Flannery with 12 points. For Yeshiva outside of Samet, Yoav Oselka came to play dropping 20 points and grabbing 7 rebounds, followed by Max Zakheim with 12 points and 7 assists, but the real story is Zevi Samet today. He went 10-15 from behind the arch and 18-26 total from the field. He was on fire right from the beginning. He recently over took Ryan Turrell as Yeshiva’s all time leading scorer and now has the single game record as well. Zevi Samet will go down as on of if not the best Yeshiva player of all time.
