YESHIVA'S HISTORIC SEASON COMES TO AN END

Yeshiva Emory-

            Yeshiva’s season comes to an end at the sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament following a loss to Emory. Zevi Samet ends his historic season doing everything in his power to will Yeshiva over the top, but Emory’s offense was just too much for them to handle. Samet had 43 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists, he was followed by Yoav Oselka with 20 points and 5 rebounds, they were the only two players to score in double figures for Yeshiva. The career of Zevi Samet is unbelievably impressive and he should be remembered as one of the best D3 players ever, he’s scored over 2,500 points and led his team to back-to-back championships. This Yeshiva team was counted out early in the season following a string of tough losses, but they managed to end the season with an undefeated conference record and Skyline Championship. Yeshiva earned their spot in the NCAA Tournament and showed why they were there, managing to win two extremely tight games. Zevi Samet ends his historic career and will be remembered for years to come. Great season Yeshiva.
