YESHIVA WINS! ADVANCING THEM TO THE SWEET 16

Yeshiva vs University of Maine-Farmington-

            Yeshiva is moving on to the sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament after they defeated the University of Maine-Farmington last night in dominate fashion 92-69. They had it going on offense, putting up over 40 points in each half, while shooting 53% from the field. On defense they also locked in, they recorded 9 steals which handed them 19 easy points. Yoav Oselka led Yeshiva with a double-double, 24 points and 11 rebounds, followed by Zevi Samet who continues to perform with 16 points, then by Yair Dovrat with 13 points and 6 assists, then off the bench Nate Jacobs came in and had 10 points and 7 rebounds. Yeshiva also dominated in the paint; they had 48 points in the paint. Yeshiva is showing just how tough the Skyline Conference is, although they went undefeated, they were in tight games for the majority of their conference play. Nothing about this season has been easy for Yeshiva but they have shown they are a true force in the NCAA and probably should have been ranked in the top 25.
