Yeshiva Locks Down Purchase

Yeshiva vs Purchase-

            Skyline Play kicks off with Yeshiva getting the win over Purchase 71-46. Yeshiva’s defense proved to be too much for Purchase, Yeshiva’s offense struggled but their 11 steals led to enough easy points to help them get over the top. Purchase was led by Desmond Ward who was the only player in double figures scoring 10 of their 46 points, but this wasn’t enough to overcome the 20 turnovers and poor shooting. Yeshiva was led by Yoav Oselka who had 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Zevi Samet had 12 points and 4 rebounds. Max Zakheim and Roy Itcovichi both brought in 11 points and 5 rebounds. Yeshiva starts its conference season off on the right note with a commanding victory, as Purchase looks to move on and regroup.
