YESHIVA FINSHES UNDEFEATED IN CONFERENCE PLAY

Yeshiva vs Mount Saint Mary’s-

            Perfection! Yeshiva finishes the season with an undefeated conference record after defeating Mount Saint Mary’s 73-60. Mount Saint Mary’s gave Yeshiva good scare, actually leading after the first half 27-24, but Yeshiva came out hot in the second half and put up a staggering 49 points to secure the victory. For Yeshiva Yoav Oselka led the way with 19 points and 8 rebounds, followed by Zevi Samet, who will most likely be the Skyline Player of the Year, who had 16 points and 6 rebounds, followed by Max Zakheim with 13 points and 8 rebounds, then Dothan Bardichev came in with 10 points and 4 rebounds. For Mount Saint Mary’s Justin Rivera led the team with 12 points and 4 rebounds, followed by Kaleb Eller with 11 points. Mount Saint Mary’s struggled to find their footing this season but tonight showed they can compete with the best teams in the conference. But the real story is Yeshiva securing the one seed for the playoffs and finishing undefeated in conference play, they were the clear best team, and it will be interesting to see if they can finish it out as repeating conference champions.
