ST. JOSEPH'S WINS IN OT OVER USMMA

St. Joseph’s vs USMMA-

            St. Joseph’s pulls out the win against USMMA after an overtime thriller. Neither of these teams are playoff bound but both were heading in two totally different directions, St. Joseph’s had gotten red hot towards the end of the season and had the season gone a few weeks longer would have had a chance to overcome their rough start and make a run at the playoffs, USMMA started off solid with four conference wins in eight games, but then dropping nine straight to finish the season. St. Joseph’s was led by two players who led the team in the second half od the season, Jacob Idowu and Justin Munson who both had 20 points, with Idowu also bringing in an insane 19 rebounds, they were followed by Colin Mills with 11 points. St. Joseph’s also dominated the rebounding war, securing 51 rebounds compared to USMMA’s 33. USMMA was led by Jack Flannery who has a bright future ahead of him, with 22 points and 7 rebounds today, followed by Mason Lavergne with 18 points and Tim Barton with 11 points and 9 rebounds. St. Joseph’s will finish 6-12 in conference play, as USMMA will finish 4-12.
