ST. JOSEPH'S WINS IN A THRILLER AGAINST PURCHASE

St. Joseph’s vs Purchase-

            St. Joseph’s defeated Purchase in a thriller, securing the win with two late free throws from Justin Munson who had another stellar performance. Munson dropped a game high 38 points and 10 rebounds, he was followed by Colin Mills and Maven Cummings with 14 points, Jacob Idowu had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. St. Joseph’s dominated in the paint with 42 points, and a solid 15 second chance points. They also managed to shoot 46% from the field. Purchase showed up to play also with Trey Skeete and Desmond Ward performing with 19 points each, Sean Holzman had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, Maurice Western had 11 points and Chris Hunter off the bench dropped 12 points. On defense struggled allowing more than 35 points per half, costing them the game. Purchase now falls to 4-6 in conference play as St. Joseph’s seems to have found their footing moving to 2-7.
