St. Joseph's picks up first win against York

St. Joseph’s vs York-

            St. Joseph’s picked up its first win against York College behind Kenny Rodriguez 18 points and 13 rebounds. They got off to a hot start finishing the first half with an 18-point lead and York was never able to recover. St. Joseph’s had their offense firing on all cylinders with five players scoring in double digits. With AJ Esposito scoring 11 points on limited minuets, TayShaun Hawkins brought in 16 points and 6 assists, Jaiden Gaston’s 13 points and Matthew Maxwell’s 10 points St. Joseph’s was hard to beat. Their defense was in mid-season form holding York to just 52 points and holding them to 0-12 from three. St. Joseph’s has lost a few close games but it seems like they are finding their stride now offensively scoring 42 points in the first half alone. When St. Joseph’s plays like this they will be hard to beat.
