St. Joseph's Defeats Maritime to Secure Their 6th win in a Row

            St. Joseph’s stays unbelievably hot defeating Maritime 76-68 moving to 2-0 in Skyline play. St. Joseph’s was led by Tayshaun Hawkins who had 25 points, but not to be outshined, AJ Esposito had a double-double with 22 points and a game leading 21 rebounds continuing his stellar season. Kenny Rodriguez and Anthony Todd both scored 11 points while Rodriguez had 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Maritime had some shooting troubles shooting only 29% from three and only had Tyler Anderson scoring in double figures with 22 points and 3 assists. Jake Devaney followed Anderson with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists, while Evan Block led the team with 8 rebounds. Maritime is now 1-2 in Skyline play. St. Joseph’s has fully found their groove proving they are one of the best teams in the conference with 6 straight wins going into the bulk of their season. Look out for both of these teams to make deep runs in the Skyline Playoffs.
