            St. Joseph’s picked up a big win against UMSV after pulling away in the second half to secure the victory. St. Joseph’s shot an astounding 53% from behind the arch, while holding UMSV to just 36% from the field. McGovern Athlete Kenny Rodriguez led St. Joseph’s with 22 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds, just shy of a triple-double, he was followed by Tayshaun Hawkins with 21 points and 6 rebounds, Jaiden Gaston with 11 points and AJ Esposito with 10 points and 9 rebounds. St. Joseph’s offense was just too much for UMSV who managed to stay in the game in the first half only being down 2 points going into the second, but then St. Joseph’s got hot and pulled away. UMSV was led by Eric Woodberry who had 26 points and 5 rebounds, followed by Joel Gado with a double-double, 17 points and 12 rebounds, then Louis Vidal with 10 points. St. Joseph’s moves to 4-3 in conference play as UMSV falls to 1-6.
