Sarah Lawrence wins the defensive battle against UMSV

            Sarah Lawrence and UMSV have a defensive battle for their Skyline Conference openers with Sarah Lawrence getting the edge 56-46. Both teams shot below 35% from the field despite that Sarah Lawrence was led by Braden Burman and Chris Dougherty who both brought in double-doubles, with Burman scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds and Dougherty bringing in 12 points and 16 rebounds. Andrew Kim helped in the win with 12 points and 3 assists. UMSV was led by Eric Woodberry who had 19 points, while Joel Gado had 11 points and 12 rebounds. Sarah Lawrence moves to 1-0 in conference play, but they cant have another shooting game like this if they want to be successful, UMSV is still searching for a steady offense we will see if they can get it together heading into winter break.
