Old Westbury vs St. Joseph’s-

            Old Westbury pulls out the upset against St. Joseph’s in an absolute thriller, finishing in overtime 80-76. Old Westbury battled back after going down by more than 10 points in the first half, but a series of and one’s brought them right back into the game. Kenny Rodriguez tried to will St. Joseph’s over the top scoring a game high 30 points and picking up 15 rebounds, he was followed by Tayshaun Hawkins who started off extremely hot hitting a few early three’s, he finished with 16 points. Jermaine King Jr. led Old Westbury back with 27 points and 6 assists, despite being undersized he managed to get to the basket and drill shots from three, he was followed by Latimer Taylor Jr. with 14 points, Christian Thomas and Imole Akinwale both with 11 points. St. Joseph’s had a shot in regulation to win it, but came up just short, then in overtime after a failed in bound for St. Joseph’s Old Westbury managed to secure the win. Old Westbury moves to 2-3 in conference play as St. Joseph’s falls to 3-2.
