Mount Saint Mary's Defense Stumbles against Sage

 Mount Saint Mary’s vs Sage-

            The Mount Saint Mary’s Knights fall to Russell Sage College 85-74; despite a solid offensive performance the Knights defense couldn’t hold Sage back. Matthew Walsh led The Knights with a solid 14 points; he was followed by Matt Monaco who came off the bench giving a spark to the team by pouring in 10 points and grabbing 7 rebounds. JP Egan had 7 points, but a team leading 6 assists. Despite these players The Knights couldn’t hold back the Sage offense as they managed to put up 85 points. The last two games Mount Saint Mary’s has struggles defensively, after a stellar defensive performance by against Bard, we will see if they can get back on track.
