Maritime's offense proves too much for St. Joseph's in their Skyline openers

Maritime vs St. Joseph’s-

            Maritime starts off conference play with a win over St. Joseph’s (Brooklyn). Maritime had it rolling offensively right from the start going up 18 points in the first half. St. Joseph’s defense struggled to hold Maritime down, even with Maven Cummings pouring in 23 points for them it wasn’t enough to over come Maritime’s offense. Maritime was led by Jesse Tricario who brought in 14 points and 6 rebounds, followed by Jake Deavaney who had another solid performance with 10 points and 6 rebounds. Zion Williams also added to Maritimes scoring with 11 points and 2 assists, Maritime had 17 players score in this game showing they have incredible depth. St. Joseph’s showed they are a top team offensively scoring 74 points, which in most games guarantees a close game, but their defense struggled to hold up. Maritime now moves to 1-0 in conference with St. Joseph’s falling to 0-1.
