MARITIME SWEEPS USMMA

Maritime vs USMMA-

            In a conference rivalry game Maritime took down USMMA after an explosive offensive performance. Maritime shot 50% from both the field and behind the arc, while putting up over 40 points each half. For Maritime they were led by two very familiar names at this point, Zion Williams and Jake Devaney both with 22 points, while Williams also had 9 rebounds and 6 assists, Tyler Anderson followed with 11 points and 5 assists. For USMMA they had very few answers on defense to hold back Maritime’s offense, but Jack Flannery tried all he could to will his team into the game, Flannery had a game high 27 points and 4 rebounds, followed by Aaron Zalescik with 15 points and 9 rebounds, then Mason Lavergne with 11 points. USMMA continues their skid, dropping their seventh straight game, while Maritime bounced back to move to 8-6 in conference play. Williams and Devaney are both solidifying themselves as top five players in the conference while Flannery continues to show he has a bright future ahead.
