Maritime Shooting Woes Cost them in Daytona

Maritime vs UW-River Falls-

Maritime escaped the New York cold to pick up a game against UW-River Falls in sunny Daytona Beach Florida. Unfortunately, poor shooting spoiled the warm weather as Maritime lost 75-62, they shot just 32% from the field and 18% from 3 three-point land. Zion Williams led the Privateers with a solid 25 points and 5 rebounds, while Jake Devaney brought in 13 points and 13 rebounds. Evan Block was solid for the team as he had 9 points and 7 rebounds. Maritime struggled in the first half to get going and that cost them the game, perhaps this was a result of some jet lag as we have seen with a few teams who have been traveling this week. Maritime plays again Sunday look out for them to bounce back and get their legs back under them.
