            Maritime Drops a nail bitter to Rutgers-Newark losing by just 2 points after leading by 4 entering the second half. Maritime’s defense seemed to hold up only giving up 65 points, but their offense struggled shooting just 30% from three-point land. Maritime only managed to score 25 of their 63 points in the second half. Jake Devaney led the team with 16 points and 5 rebounds, as Zion Williams returned off the bench to help out putting up a solid 15 points and 5 assists, despite this Maritime struggled to score. Maritime’s 19 turnovers also cost them in a game where possessions meant so much in the end. Maritime falls to 2-3 overall as they get ready to take on division 1 Yale Tuesday.
