Maritime falls to D1 Yale

Maritime vs Yale-

Maritime faced off against its second division 1 opponent of the year Yale, despite the game not being ultra-competitive these games act as great opportunities for both teams to work on things and get their players in. Maritime got to play all 18 of their players and give them an opportunity to play at the highest level. Despite the game not being super close Jake Devaney did not hold back and put up 14 points against the division 1 defense leading Maritime as only him and Sean Kivlan scored in double figures. Kivlan usually a recent starter came off the bench and put up 12 points and 3 assists. Evan Block had 5 points and 4 rebounds, while 10 players managed to get points on the board. Maritime hasn’t come out the gate quite the way they had hoped dropping a close game this past week by just 2 points, but things do look to be coming together for them as they gear up for conference play, and these games usually act as a good reset for a team. Maritime started Jake Devaney, Evan Block, Zion Williams, Jesse Tricario and Tyler Anderson.
